First Baptist Church of Littlestown

Children’s Church

Children's Church is a session that is held for children age 3 to grade 3. This class, conducted during the worship hour, provides opportunities for boys and girls to participate in personalized Bible instruction and training on their level of understanding.

“Bible Basics” Sunday School lessons introduce the Bible story and theme. “Beyond Basics” lessons done in Children’s Church carries the students along the same thought line to further examine the Bible story with emphasis on life application.

Ages 2-5

It's imperative at this age to build a scriptural foundation that can be built on for life.  Our activities are aimed at making learning about Jesus fun and we encourage you to assist in the learning process.

Children will make projects that can be proudly displayed at home.  They will also provide parents a visual link to lessons taught.

Grades 1-4

Here we continue to build on what your child has already learned and begin to show how God's principles can be applied to everyday life.

Children are presented stories and asked to participate in classroom discussion.  Students are encouraged to complete activities at home with parents.

Grades 5-6

Students at this age are being confronted with choices that could impact the rest of their lives.  We provide instruction on what God's Word says about the ways of the world and how Satan tempts us.

The atmosphere here encourages students to interact with the teacher and their peers.  God's Word is presented in a candid manner and challenge students to apply God's Word to their lives.

Pre-teens and Young Adults

Many children at this stage in life are examining their lives and their relationship with God.  We provide examples of how God can make these decisions easier and show in God's Word why certain decisions are to be made.

Adult Study Group

Our Pastor leads these classes that offer an in-depth study of God's Word.  These classes are offered Sunday morning and Wednesday evening and are usually in succession.

Interaction is encouraged with a Q&A session at the end of each class.
