Q. I'm new to this area or visiting from out of town; can you help me find like minded people and a loving church? A. Absolutely! Our church has been in the this community for more then 10 years. Please email or call 717.359.8404 us to request a sponsor. Your sponsor is a member of our assembly and can meet you at our church for your first visit. Prior to your first visit you and your sponsor can "get to know" each other if you choose to. Please include in your initial contact: Your name and other guest you may have. Any children with their names and ages. Special needs (i.e. handicaps, elderly, mental or physical challenged, etc...). Previous church(s) attended. How and when (time and/or date) we may contact you. Q. Where is the church located? Q. When do I arrive? A. Sunday School starts at 10:00 am. Sunday worship services start at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm. Wednesday worship begins at 7:00pm. We recommend that you arrive ~10 minutes early. Q. What should I wear? A. Regardless of what attire you can afford God loves you and encourages you to attend fellowship with like minded Christians. We encourage you to respect yourself and others by not wearing anything that may be deemed offensive or inappropriate in God's house. So, whether it's a three piece suit, a dress or jeans please come prepared to learn God's word. Q. Who will be there? A. At our Sunday and Wednesday services you can choose to be greeted by your sponsor. If you would like a sponsor please contact us by email or phone 717.359.8404 so we may learn more about you and/or your family. Our sponsors are familiar with the area and can help you find your way around. Q. What about my children? A. Your child based on age and/or grade can attend one of our Sunday school class. If your child is an infant we offer a nursery service. You can be assured that your child while at any of our activities is being cared for by Church members that are qualified and loving towards God's children. All members and guests with children in our nursery are issued a pager when they drop off their child. This is used to retrieve parents from the sanctuary or classes when they are needed in the nursery area. Your name and your child's name are recorded when your child is delivered to the nursery. When you retrieve your child from the nursery you must sign our logbook to verify your child is in your custody. |
